Lynda and I attended the dedication ceremony for the new memorial to the victims of 4/16 today. There were thousands of students, teachers, and members of the Blacksburg community at the event. The family members of each of the victims were also in antecedence and took part in a memorable ceremony honoring their lost loved ones. It continues to amaze me how close knit of a community is Virginia Tech for such a large university. It would be impossible to put into words the feelings we experienced during the ceremony. Today was certainly a day we will never forget. It certainly makes you realize how much we take each other for grated and motivates you to cherish the time we have together.
